ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) are funds that can be traded on
the exchange like stocks, which means they can be traded throughout the trading
day (unlike mutual funds, which are priced at the end of the trading day). ETFs
provide a way to buy and sell a basket of assets without having to buy all the component
assets separately, and their cost is usually lower than other types of funds.
ETFs can be diversified across all classes of assets, such
as stocks, bonds, commodities, etc. It can also be invested in a particular
industry or sub-sectors, which has the advantages of diversification and strong
focus.
